Excellent! Consider it a success. With your video updates I expect to be able to grab your fabulous insights faster. But don't forget the written analyses and comments, since they provide a more profound understanding than what a video can. Thanks for your efforts, it certainly matters to me and lots of others.

    Hi Eric

Just discovered your site yesterday -- linked from Jim Sinclair.

Bravo!! Market Skeptics has shot right to the top of my must-read blog list. The article on the USD was fantastic.

The idea for a video entry is excellent. I look forward to the updates.

    Keep up the fantastic work.

    Regards,
    Evan

As with the other comments here I agree the video idea is excellent, it helps as a brief summary before going into the details of your excellent articles and analysis.

I also feel like a student

    Hi Eric,

    Long live the video updates!

I had meant to contact you and request you do some vids.

It sure would be a help to hear someone (who understands it) explain some of these concepts...such as the china dollar peg.

    Keep up the Great Work!

I can't get enough of the gold entries. I would love a "lecture" on the gold manipulation.

  7. Martijn says:

Although an interesting topic indeed, please understad that the debate on gold price manipulation has been running for at least a decade already. The conclusion that "gold is about to go through the roof" has been drawn numerous times already.

This is not to say that I disagree on the fundamental arguments, which seem very credible indeed, but some historical perspective is not superfluous on this topic.

Gold has been manipulated for at least a decade, and although that seems fundamentally "wrong", it has proven to be workable quite some period.

So yes, buy some gold, but understand the risk of the price capping to be continued and you not getting rich from your gold.

  8. Williams says:

I second what Martijn has said above.

And yes, the video entry definitely looks very promising. It will really be helpful to the regular visitors in understanding the really intricate parts of some arguments.

    Enrique
